Experience
I am a seasoned business leader with over a decade of experience in strategic consulting, marketing, sales, and growth strategies, particularly in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) and food and beverage sectors. As a key member of PepsiCo’s CCO team, I bring a wealth of expertise in driving commercial excellence, route-to-market strategies, and transformative growth initiatives to our international businesses.
Before joining PepsiCo, I served as a Partner at McKinsey & Company in Mexico, where I collaborated with leading CPG and consumer-facing companies across Latin America and other global markets. My work focused on developing high-impact growth strategies, including revenue-growth management, direct-to-store delivery transformations, and digitalization of sales channels. I also led McKinsey’s sales and in-store excellence domain in Latin America.
At PepsiCo, I am tasked with enhancing the company’s commercial capabilities for our international markets, leveraging my expertise to refine the GTM strategy, optimize route-to-market models, and strengthen PepsiCo’s commercial excellence.
Originally from El Salvador, I began my career in the apparel and financial services sectors and contributed to my family’s automotive spare parts business. I hold an MBA from Goizueta Business School at Emory University, where I graduated with Highest Distinction (top 5%) and Beta Gamma Sigma, earning a Fulbright Scholarship and a Roberto Goizueta Scholarship. I also hold a BS in Economics and Business from ESEN in El Salvador where I graduated Cum Laude.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Gaby, and our three children, Alia, Kike, and Mila. I’m passionate about grilling, cars, traveling, and building Legos.
